Esta altura do ano é tão, tão chatinha! Já estamos perdidamente apaixonadas pelas novas colecções, cheias de vontade de trazer novas sandálias para a nossa vida, de dizer adeus aos collants e tudo o mais; mas eis que o Inverno ainda não tem bem vontade de se ir embora, e ora estamos perdidas de amores por um sol lindo e radiantes, como rapidamente surgem as nuvens para estragar a nossa alegria (o mais frequente nos últimos dias). This time of the year is so, so boring! We're already completely in love about the new collections, into the mood for bring some new pairs of sandals to our lives, to say goodbye to collants and everything else; however, the Winter insists into staying a little longer, and the weather becomes a really tricky thing: in a moment we're happily feeling the sun in our faces, and quickly some clouds appear to ruin our joy. Acho que facilmente se compreende o quão viciada em sapatos eu sou! I believe it's really easy to understand how much I love shoes! Not only because I always love almost every model; not only because I tend to feel that there is a model missing in my closet; not only because buying a new pair is something that makes me really happy; not only because I ALWAYS feel that a pair of shoes can make so much for my happiness in day to day; not only because I always feel like the shoes must be the stars on an outfit, that final part that makes it look perfect. Algumas pessoas dizem que o melhor fica para o fim, e no caso concreto das Fashion Weeks serei forçada a concordar. Por mais que ame o frenetismo da NYFW (ver aqui!); por mais que sempre me impressione com a originalidade sempre presente na LFW (ver aqui!); ou por mais que adore toda a exuberância dos desfiles da MFW (ver aqui!); a verdade é que a Paris Fashion Week acaba sempre por ser a minha preferida, aquela onde se assiste ao reinventar de clássicos, onde desfilam os designers mais icónicos e que mais me fascinam! Tendo-se ontem dado o final da semana da moda de Paris, deixo-vos com os meus desfiles mais adorados, o que foi uma escolha mega difícil!

Some people use to say that the best always remains for the end, and in this concrete casa, about the major Fashion Weeks I would have to agree with that. For more that I love the frenetic feelings about NYFW (see it here!); for more that I always get impressed by the originality always present on LFW (see it here!); or for more that I adore all the exuberance that surrounds the fashion shows in MFW (see it here!); the truth is that my absolutely perfect fashion week always turns out to be the Paris Fashion Week. This is the one where we can see the reinvention of classics, where the most iconic designers presents their shows! As today was the last day, I'll leave you with my most loved fashion shows, what was surely a super hard decision!

Red Carpet: Oscars 2014

Serei a única cada vez mais e mais desiludida com as recentes red carpet? Ultimamente tenho sentido que tem faltado aquele efeito wow, aqueles vestidos estonteantes de tão bonitos que são, aquela expectativa sobre os vestidos que efectivamente nos impressionam! Se nos Globos de Ouro ainda amei quase todas as escolhas, o mesmo não aconteceu nas restantes red carpets desta temporada (nem falei delas por aqui), e ontem, noite de Óscares pus outra vez as minhas expectativas bem elevadas, e o sentimento de desilusão foi grande.

I'm the only one who's feeling a little disappointed about the latest red carpets? Lately, the wow effect is literally missing, those more than gorgeous dresses tends to not appear, and that expectation about what celebrities will be wearing turns to be a disappointment! If the Golden Globes we're able to surprise me, I couldn't say the same of any of the remaining red carpets that have been happening since January, and yesterday's night was once again a huge disappointment for me.

 Ontem terminou mais uma das quatro grandes semanas da moda: a semana da moda de Milão, aquela que para mim surge como a mais irreverente, mais out of the box, mas que nem sempre atinge as minhas expectativas! Linda, basiquinha e mega versátil, para usar com tudo e mais qualquer coisa, e em todos os estilos que possamos imaginar... Essa é a camisa branca que todas conhecemos e amamos, aquele básico que faz parte do guarda-roupa de quase todas as mulheres deste mundo, e que merece muita admiração. Sempre existiu e sempre existirá, mas esta Primavera/Verão ganhou todo um novo destaque. Se ela já era básica, imaginem agora que virou tendência!

E hoje foi o derradeiro dia da semana da moda de Nova Iorque, o último dia de desfiles daquela que foi considerada a melhor semana da moda do mundo. O que melhor do que compilar todos os favoritos e detalhes interessantes num só post? Não posso dizer que amei esta semana, mas se há coisa que é para aplaudir e admirar foi a realidade que por lá se viveu: pronto-a-vestir verdadeiramente pronto-a-vestir, do género pegar e inspirarmo-nos já neste preciso momento e sair à rua, nada de muita fantasia e irrealidade pelas passarelas, quase apenas e só inspiração verdadeira para mulheres reais por esse mundo fora.

And today was the last day of NYFW, the last day of fashion shows of that one that has been elected as the best fashion week in the world. What would be better for today than review every single favorite and interesting detail in one only post? I won't say that I loved a lot this week, but if there is something we could all admire and applaud, that's the reality that have been seen around there: ready to wear that was really ready to wear, like we could just look at those looks and inspire us for this precisely moment with similar pieces, nothing of too much fantasy on those fashions shows, almost just and only true inspiration for true women around the world.

Depois de muita inspiração pastel, nada como algumas dicas de compras nos tons mais adoráveis da estação. As grandes estrelas acabam por ser: o azul, que dentro dos tons pastéis, surge em vários escalas de cor; e o cor-de-rosinha lindo e amoroso; mas não vamos deixar de adorar os outros tons, certo meninas?

After lots of pastel inspiration, nothing like put in practice our adoration about the sweetest tones of the season. The big stars appears to be: the blue, that always in pastel mood, can achieve various specific tones; and the sweet lovely pink; but let's not stop to adore the other tones, right ladies?

Craving for: a Tulle Skirt

Um autêntico objecto de desejo: as saias de tule, capazes de fazer qualquer uma sonhar com os dias remotos da nossa infância! Só de pensar que desde à dois anos que são alvo do meu desejo, e que ainda hoje são uma ausência no meu roupeiro, basicamente por dois motivos: 1) é uma peça que simplesmente não existe nas lojas do costume, o que apenas deixa a opção lojas online; 2) para além disso, as poucas opções que existem tendem a ser pouco acessíveis. Poucas são as peças que viraram tendência directamente vindas do street style, e as saias de tule são um desses raros casos! É certo, que mais recentemente, também têm surgido nos grandes desfiles, mas o grande hit começou mesmo nas ruas.

Vamos aplaudi-las meninas?

An authentic item of desire: the tulle skirts, able to make anyone dream about the so old days from childhood! Just by thinking that I'm desiring it from already two years, and that it's yet a missing piece on my closet. That's basically for two reasons: 1) it's a piece that couldn't be find on the usual physical stores, what left me only with the online option; 2) even for more, it tends to be a little expensive. Few are the pieces that turns to be a great trend, starting directly from the street style, and those pretty tulle skirts are one of those rare situations! Now, it has been also been appearing a lot in lots of runways, but the greatest hit started on the streets.

So, let's applaud it girls?
