Zara April Lookbook

Parece que o assunto do dia é o novo Lookbook da Zara.

As imagens estão muito bem construídas e as peças aparentam bastante elegância,

mas na minha opinião, não trouxe nada de novo e apaixonante!

Começa a ser preciso mais para me convencer..

Ponto extremamente a favor, é que temos de admitir

que os lookbooks estão cada vez mais sofisticados e bem conseguidos.

Seems like the big subject of the day is the newest Zara lookbook.

The images are super and the pieces look so elegant,

but in my opinion, this didn't brought anything of new or passionate about!

It begins to take more to made me fall in love..

A good point is that we have to admit

that the lookbooks are getting better.

Gosto especialmente do vestido florido e do blazer azul,

mas lá está, não estou apaixonada!

I specially liked the floral dress and the blue blazer,

but as I said, I'm not in love!

Trends SS13 # 17 | Monochromatic

Monocromático Colorido!

Cor, cor, cor..

Uma espécie de arco-irís brilhante, mas em modo total,

da cabeça até aos pés!

Quem disse que a cor não era para ser conjugada!?

Gucci, Valentino, Hérmes entre outros,

provam-nos que essa é uma teoria ultrapassada!

Afinal, Verão é sinónimo de cor.

Colorful Monochromatic!

Color, color, color..

A kind of bright rainbow,

but from head to toe!

Who said that color could not be conjugated!?

proved us that this theory is completely wrong!

Adoro, adoro & adoro!!

Conjuntinhos à base do mesmo padrão, por vezes dos pés à cabeça!!

Uma aposta bastante arriscada, mas também muitooo divertida!

Se no passado era uma escolha questionável,

hoje já vamos vendo por aí imensa gente a aderir e arriscar..

Quase todos os designers nos trouxeram óptimas versões prontas a passar para a vida real!

A minha versão preferida - Giambattista Valli em ambas as versões:

matchy matchy em top, calças e sapatos;

ou matchy matchy à base de saia e casaco!

Cute sets with the same pattern, sometimes, from the head to the toe!!

A little risky bet, but also so funny!

If in the past, it was a questionable choice,

today, we've been seeing lots of people joining and risking..

Almost all designers brought us amazing versions just ready to pass to the real life!

My favorite version - Giambattista Valli in both looks:

Matchy Matchy with a top, pants AND shoes;

or Matchy Matchy with a skirt and a cute matchy jacket.

Estilo Desportivo.

Ora aí está algo que não tem nada a ver comigo,

mas que nem por isso deixa de merecer destaque!

O estilo desportivo esteve em alta nas semanas da moda.

Uma visão mais desportiva da vida,

que coloca o conforto como primeira prioridade,

MAS sem esquecer um estilo aprimorado pela beleza dos detalhes.

O branco total é uma boa forma de se entrar neste caminho, vejam Giambattista Valli;

mas outro factor em comum a todos estes looks,

são as cores claras e suaves, que garantem a elegância a qualquer look desportivo!

Sporty Style.

There is something that has nothing to do with me,

but even so, it deserves some highlight!

The sporty style was been on the rise on the fashion weeks..

A more sporty way of seeing life,

which puts the comfort as the major priority,

BUT without forgetting a style enhanced by the beauty of the little details.

The total white is a great way to get on that sporty style, see Giambattista Valli;

but another common factor in every sportive looks,

are the soft and light colors, that guarantees some elegance to any look of this type!

Suit Up!

À base de contrastes: de um lado, fatos super femininos com saias lápis;

de outro, fatos compostos por calças, de conteúdo bem mais robusto..

Isto sem nunca esquecer o mais que obrigatório blazer,

que apesar de ser um básico de guarda-roupa,

esta estação vem ganhar novo realce!

Sempre em modo completo, dos pés à cabeça, para ganhar outro encanto!

É arriscado, ou pelo menos pouco usual,

mas o resultado é cheio de charme!

Suit Up!

Based on contrasts: on one side, super feminine and delicate suits with pencil skirts;

for another, suits composed by pants, with a very more robust content..

This without forgetting the more than mandatory blazer,

that despite of being a closet basic,

this season comes to gain a new enhancement!

It's a little risky, or at least a little unusual,

but the outcome is definitely full of charm!

Transparências!

Surgem em quase todas as peças, repletas de transparências,

feitas à base de tecidos leves e sensuais, mas cheios de elegância!

O resultado, por vezes bastante óbvio, noutros casos, quase artístico,

traz-nos um enorme destaque à mulher confiante.

A peça-chave são claramente os vestidos,

mas outra opção bem interessante: casacos em plástico, como em Valentino!

Transparency!

They come in almost every pieces, filled of transparencies,

based on light and sensual fabrics, but with lots of elegance!

The outcome, sometimes well obvious, another cases, almost artistic,

bring us a huge emphasis to he confident woman.

The key piece is clearly the dresses,

but another interesting and lovely option: plastic jackets, like in Valentino! 

Soulmates | Zara vs. Michael van der Ham

A Zara parece ter ido buscar inspiração à para lá de fantástica colecção,

apresentada por Michael Van Der Ham para a próxima Primavera/Verão.

Van der Ham trouxe-nos imensaaas peças neste padrão quadriculado,

e de repente a Zara aparece com vários modelos no mesmo padrão..

Para além disso, o corte é super semelhante,

não deixando muita margem para dúvidas!

Adoro as camisas, e podem ver o que resta delas na loja online

Zara seems to have seek for inspiration to the beyond fantastic collection,

presented by Michael Van der Ham for next Spring/Summer.

Van der Ham brought us so many pieces on this lovely squared pattern,

and suddenly, Zara appears with various models on this same pattern..

In addition, the cut is super similar,

not leaving space for doubts!

Branco Total!

Tendencialmente uma cor de Verão,

não é surpresa que surja em destaque..

Mas o surpreendente, é que surja em look total,

dos pés à cabeça, sem esquecer os sapatos!

Os looks ganham um aspecto totalmente minimal,

cheios de perfeição para um Verão que se quer quente!

A forma mais fácil e clássica de usar - os vestidinhos frescos, como DKNY;

ou então, de forma mais arrojada - vestir peça sobre peça nesta cor,

até construir um look, como Missoni ou Akris.

Total White!

It usually tends to be a Summer color,

so it's not very surprising that it appears in highlight..

But the surprise here, is that arises in a total look,

from the head to the feet, without forgetting the shoes!

The outfits won a minimal looking,

filled of perfection for a hot Summer, or we hope!

The most easy and classic way to wear - the fresh dresses, like DKNY;

or in a more risky way - just dress piece over piece of clothing with this color,

until you get a total look, like in Missoni or Akris.

Cortes & Recortes!

Pequenos ou grandes cortes surgem ao longo dos vestidos,

criando formas originais e adoravelmente imprevisíveis.

Tudo em ordem a quebrar a monotomia

de um vestido que tinha tudo para ser simples!

Alexander Wang surge como a estrela desta tendência,

tendo tido um desfile repleto desta surpreendente modelagem!

Mas outros o seguiram, e de forma mais subtil, como Valentino,

ou igualmente arrojada, arriscaram e deram-se bem!

Cut Out!

Small or big cuts appears along the dresses,

creating original and adorably unpredictable shapes.

All in order to break the monotony

of a dress that has everything to be really simple!

Alexander Wang surely was the star of this trend,

with a fashion show totally fulfilled of this surprising model!

But other followed him, and in a more subtly way of view, as Valentino,

or equally audacious, risked themselves!
