Sabem aqueles outfits tão deliciosos ao olhar típicos do 4 de Julho nos EUA? Ano após ano: adoro-os, muito mesmo! A conjugação entre o vermelho e o azul escuro, uma das minhas preferidas de sempre; a que ainda se juntam os padrões em alto destaque, quase sempre riscas vermelhas e bolinhas azuis (ou estrelinhas, ou tantas outras coisas). Pois a verdade é que ano após ano eu me delicio com os outfits dessa data, mas até à existência destes calções tão lindinhos no meu roupeiro, sempre se revelou impossível fazer algo parecido, afinal faltava uma das peças-chave! Agora finalmente aqui está: não sou americana, não festejo o 4 de Julho, mas alegro-me com toda esta mixórdia de cores e padrões, e isso basta-me!

Do you know those really beautiful outfits so typical of the 4th of July in USA? Year after year I love them, truly a lot! The conjugation between the red and the dark blue, one of my favorites of ever; and then, we add the highlighted patterns, almost always it's all about red stripes and blue polka dots (sometimes little stars, or something similar). But until the moment that these lovely shorts arrive to my wardrobe, the idea of recreating one of those outfits was just that: an idea! One of the keypieces was missing, but now it's here: I'm not american, I don't celebrate the 4th of July, but I really feel the happiness about wearing those colors and these patterns, and that's enough for me!
