I'm one of those persons able to create the biggest obsessions about something. The latest? Watches! Beautiful, colorful, oversized watches! A watch is always a great improvement to a look, a sign of our personality, a piece to keep during lots of years, something that will make us smile when we just wanna see what time is it. My favorites:

Resort 2015 Report

The months of May and June were fulfilled of presentations for the Resort season, and it came so perfectly at this moment, after all, the most of the countries are starting to live the Summer right now, and Resort collections are all about funny colors, interesting patterns and fresh clothes, meaning, inspiration to wear in this precise moment! I've selected my favorite collections, and believe me when I say that it was a truly tricky thing to do, so in the end, we have the usual loose pieces.

Os meses de Maio e Junho são completamente preenchidos pelas apresentações da temporada Resort, e vêm em tão bom momento, afinal, estamos agora a viver o início do Verão, e as colecções Resort são tudo acerca de cores giras e divertidas, padrões interessantes e roupas frescas, o que significa, inspiração para vestir já, já, já! Seleccionei as minhas colecções favoritas, e acreditem quando digo que foi uma tarefa verdadeiramente complicada, e no final, temos as habituais peças soltas.

What there is to love? The fancy pencil skirts, made by really interesting and unusual fabrics, that were so perfectly mixed with the top garments.

O que há para amar? As saias lápis, feitas de tecidos interessantes e pouco usuais, que foram perfeitamente misturadas com todas as restantes peças.

Round-up into NYFW

E hoje foi o derradeiro dia da semana da moda de Nova Iorque, o último dia de desfiles daquela que foi considerada a melhor semana da moda do mundo. O que melhor do que compilar todos os favoritos e detalhes interessantes num só post? Não posso dizer que amei esta semana, mas se há coisa que é para aplaudir e admirar foi a realidade que por lá se viveu: pronto-a-vestir verdadeiramente pronto-a-vestir, do género pegar e inspirarmo-nos já neste preciso momento e sair à rua, nada de muita fantasia e irrealidade pelas passarelas, quase apenas e só inspiração verdadeira para mulheres reais por esse mundo fora.

And today was the last day of NYFW, the last day of fashion shows of that one that has been elected as the best fashion week in the world. What would be better for today than review every single favorite and interesting detail in one only post? I won't say that I loved a lot this week, but if there is something we could all admire and applaud, that's the reality that have been seen around there: ready to wear that was really ready to wear, like we could just look at those looks and inspire us for this precisely moment with similar pieces, nothing of too much fantasy on those fashions shows, almost just and only true inspiration for true women around the world.

My Birthday Wishlist

O dia em que farei 22 anos já!?! aproxima-se, já faltam menos de duas semanas,

e fazer uma wishlist acaba por ser quase uma necessidade ou um vício!

Admito que me custou um pouco a descobrir 12 coisinhas que eu quisesse MESMO,

talvez porque não me sinto no mood aniversário a chegar,

ou porque ontem fiz um passeio pelas lojas e me senti um pouco desapontada...

Mas aqui ficam algumas coisinhas de que gosto muito, e pela respectiva ordem e tudo, ahaha.

The day I will make 22 years already!?! is coming, there is only a few days left,

and making my wishlist ends to be almost a need or an addiction!

I must admit that it was hard to find 12 things that I'm REALLY wanting,

maybe because I'm not feeling in the mood for birthday,

or maybe the cause is the few things I've liked in stores when I went to the shopping yesterday...

But there is some things that I really like a lot, and for my preference order, ahaha.

Shoes / Dress / Necklace from Zara / Bag / Hat / Some Fashion Books: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

Nem imaginam o quanto os sapatos são a minha cara, ainda para mais ficam perfeitos no pé, definitivamente o item mais desejado de toda a lista!

Quanto ao vestido, ainda não o vi, mas parece-me deliciosamente amoroso e bonito!

O colar de pérolas que já toda a gente tem apaixonou-me desde o início,

mas deu-me uma qualquer parvoeira e nunca o comprei,

conclusão: durante as férias tinha decidido que quando o voltasse o comprava,

ontem procurei em três Zara's, e nem sinal dele!

A mala da Mango é dos modelos que mais gosto, e adoro realmente tudo nela,

mas tenho uma forte sensação de que ao vivo a vou achar demasiado plastificada,

até lá continuo a estar louca por ela!

No Inverno passado rendi-me aos chapéus, e confesso que estou desejosa de acrescentar um novo à minha colecção: preto / nude / azul escuro são as cores mais desejadas!

Quem não ama livros de moda!? Eu babo-me sempre a folheá-los e são óptimos objectos de decoração, mas tenho sempre vindo a adiar a minha primeira compra.

You can't imagine how much these shoes are me, even more, they look perfect on the feet, it's definitely the most desired item of the list!

About the dress, I haven't seen it yet, but it seems delightfully beautiful!

The pearls necklace that everyone already has and that I fall in love since the beginning,

but for some stupid reason I haven't buy it,

conclusion: during my vacations I've decided that I will buy it when I return,

yesterday I looked for it in three Zara's and it just disappeared!

The Mango bag is really one of those models that I most like, and I really adore everything about it, but I have the strong feeling that when I see it, I will though that it's too much plasticized,

until then, I'm still mad about it!

Last Winter, I've surrounded to hats, and now I'm craving for add a new one to my collection: black / nude / navy are the most loved colors!

Who doesn't love fashion books!? I always crave for them and they're also great for decoration, but I always tend to delay my first buying.

50's are here Ladies!

O retorno ao passado é irresistível... Sonhar com as vivências de outro tempo,

traz-nos inevitavelmente a curiosidade e uma certa necessidade de revivalismo.

E isso vive-se constantemente na moda, que se faz sobre um constante ciclo vicioso,

desta vez, a inspiração são os anos 40 e 50,

com as suas irresistíveis saias rodadas e/ou com as cinturas super delineadas,

que são uma presença mais que confirmada nas colecções para a estação fria!

Os comprimentos também eles mais compostos, desceram para baixo do joelho!

Vem aí um Inverno como à muito já não estamos habituadas,

e não há dúvida que a aura que transbordou dos fashion shows é capaz de fazer qualquer uma sonhar!

The return to the past is irresistible... Dream about the experiences of another time,

inevitably brings us a big curiosity and a feeling of revival.

And that is constantly lived in fashion, that always concludes in a vicious cycle,

this time, in a clear inspiration into 40's and 50's,

with it irresistible circle skirts and/or ultra defined waists,

that are a more than confirmed presence for the Fall/Winter collections!

The lengths also requires to be more respectful, a little down of the knee!

The Winter is coming as we never seen,

and there is no doubt that the feeling that overflowed from the fashion shows

is capable of making anyone dream about!

20 Bags for Fall

Nada a fazer, a estação fria aproxima-se a passos largos,

e sonhar com o que aí vem é quase um vício!

Depois de uma pequena antevisão dos sapatos que mais me fizeram sonhar,

que tal delirarmos todas com algumas malas mais que perfeitas!?

There is nothing to do, the cold is arriving sooner or later,

and dreaming about what is coming is almost an addiction!

After a little preview about the shoes that are making me dream about Winter,

what about some delirious about a few more than perfect bags!?

Eu não sou uma bag-person, mas diria que a minha fraqueza são as malas de pêlo!

Há alguma coisa que combine mais com o Inverno do que pêlo meninas?

Uso a minha non-stop o Inverno inteiro, e digamos que ela talvez precise de algum descanso...

A J. Mendel era mais do que bem-vinda à minha companhia,

adoro todo aquele volume 'farfalhudo', e o mesmo podia dizer da Louis Vuitton.

Mas a versão clutch traz uma inerente elegância,

e é praticamente impossível resistir à versão da Burberry (já à venda aqui),

ou à da Valentino, em modo talvez mais adulto.

I'm definitely not a bag person, but I would say that in this field my weakness are the fur bags!

There is something that matches more perfectly with Winter than fur?

I wear my fur bag in a non-stop way like whole Winter, and let's just say that maybe my cute baby is needing some rest...

The J. Mendel is more than welcome to my company,

I just adore that whole bunch of fur, and the same I could say about the Louis Vuitton.

But the clutch versions always brings a lot of elegance,

and it's practically impossible to resist to Burberry version (already on sale here),

or to Valentino, maybe in a more adult way.

12 Shoes to Start Dreaming about Winter

O mundo da moda 'obriga-nos' constantemente a viver ao contrário...

Passamos o Inverno a sonhar com o Verão, sandálias e vestidinhos,

e eis que chega o Verão e não conseguimos parar de pensar no que nos esperará de seguida!

No meu caso não tanto assim, sendo mais desejar o Verão o ano inteiro,

mas não consigo deixar de ficar curiosa com o que as próximas tendências nos trarão.

O mero facto de as colecções serem apresentadas cerca de meio ano antes

torna todo este processo de desejo e ansiedade quase irresistível!

Ainda não estou bem em mood de desejar o Inverno, até porque o Verão foi bem tardio,

mas considerem isto como uma espécie de top 12 de sapatos

que me arrebataram absolutamente!

The world of fashion almost 'compels' us to live on the contrary...

We pass the Winter dreaming about the Summer, sandals and little dresses,

and then the Summer arrives and we cannot stop thinking about what will be expecting us next!

In my case, not so much like that, and it's more like desiring for the Summer the whole year,

but it is a fact, that I cannot resist to be curious about what next trends will bring us.

The mere fact that the collections always are half year ahead

turn the whole process of desire and anxiety almost irresistible!

I'm not yet in the mood for wishing Winter, even because the Summer had arrive late,

Aquela que é uma espécie de irmã mais nova da marca do criador Marc Jacobs,

tem como audiência um público mais jovem,

e isso nota-se nos modelos apresentados no desfile!

Gritam conforto e estilo, e vão buscar inspiração ao estilo vintage,

mas com uma veia bem colegial!

Destaque – O burgundy permanece para mais uma estação fria!

This brand is like a younger sister of the main brand of Marc Jacobs,

with younger consumers as target,

and that is well notorious on the models presented in the fashion show!

It screams comfort and style, and it has some vintage inspiration,

but with a touch of very high school style.

Highlight - The burgundy remains for another cold season!

Cores fortes, modelos apaixonantes e divertidos,

que não deixam passar uma quase natural elegância imanente.

Provavelmente, a minha colecção preferida da NYFW.

Oscar sabe brincar com os modelos e criar peças fascinantes!

Destaque – Aqueles dois últimos vestidos inspirados no barroco, sem dúvida que foram o ponto alto do desfile!

Bright colors, passionate and funny models,

without letting go an almost natural immanent elegance.

Probably, my favorite collection from NYFW.

Oscar surely knows how to play with the models and create fascinating pieces of clothing!

Highlight - Those last two dresses inspired on baroque, were undoubtedly the high point of the show!

Com um cenário que parece inspirado nos nossos azulejos típicos,

as peças aparentavam sobriedade e elegância simultânea.

O romantismo surge como inevitável neste desfile,

com os inúmeros ornamentos e pormenores nos vestidos.

Destaque – O veludo enquanto tecido parece estar para voltar!

With a scenario that seems to be inspired on the typical Portuguese tiles,

the pieces had sobriety and elegance.

The romanticism came out as inevitable on this show,

with the numerous ornaments and details on the dresses.

Highlight - The velvet as dress seems to be back!

Vera Wang não é só uma das melhores a fazer vestidos de noiva,

como também sabe fazer colecções ready to wear

com aquele toque de inevitável adoração!

Destaque – Querooo tanto aquela capa de pêlo preta!!

Vera Wang is not only one of the best at the time to do fabulous wedding dresses,

as she also knows how to do ready to wear collections

with a touch of inevitable adoration!

Highlight - I want so badly that black fur cape!!

Um designer que tem sido uma óptima revelação!

Desta vez o pêlo recebeu o destaque central no desfile,

e quase todas as peças tiveram direito a pequenos detalhes em pêlo..

Destaque – Os casacos com as aplicações em pêlo são tão maravilhosamente perfeitos!

A designer that has been a great revelation!

This time, the fur as been the center of the show,

and almost every piece has been entitled with some details on that material..

Highlight - The coats with fur applications are just so perfect!!

É claro que o que mais amamos em Marchesa é a Couture,

Mas não há como resistir a um belo ready to wear,

Especialmente se estiver impregnado com o toque único de Marchesa!

Mais uma vez, peças cheias de inspiração barroca,

algumas flores, e muitos folhos!

Destaque – A delicadeza dos tecidos é deliciosa.

Of course the most we love on Marchesa is the Couture,

but there is no way to resist to a beautiful ready to wear,

specially if it's with the unique touch of Marchesa!

Once more, pieces fulfilled of baroque inspiration,

some flowers and many ruffles!

Highlight - The delicacy of the fabrics is just delicious.

Uma colecção de cores básicas mas com modelagens cheias de vida!

Os tecidos são mais do que sedutores,

Que aliados a formas e volumes curiosos na maioria das peças

Resultaram numa colecção com um aspecto muito clean, mas também improvável.

Destaque – Os cortes e recortes ao longo das peças.

A collection of basic colors but with modelings filled of life!

The tissues are more than seductive,

that allied to the curious shapes and volumes presents on the most of the pieces,

has resulted in a collection with a very clean aspect, but also improbable.

Highlight - The cuts and re-cuts along the pieces.

Já todos sabemos que Marc Jacobs não é pessoa para seguir regras,

E parece que desta vez ele desejava ir de encontro ao cinzento.

As peças são básicas em cores, mas extravagantes em tecidos –

Pêlo, tweed, lantejoulas, metalizados –

Toda uma panóplia de texturas misturadas..

Destaque – Posso ter aquele fantástico vestido em pêlo!?

We all already know that Marc Jacobs is not a person to follow orders,

and seems that this time he wanted the grey color!

The pieces are color basics, but with very fancy tissues -

Fur, tweed, sparkles, metallics -

a true panoply of mixed textures..

Highlight - Can I have that amazing amazing fur dress!?
