Round-up into NYFW

After one week, dreaming about everything that was happening in New York, always the most frenetic and diverse fashion week, I'm sharing with you a graphic summary of everything that has conquered me.

 Depois de uma semana e meia, a sonhar ao longe, com tudo o que se passava na semana da moda de Nova Iorque, sempre a mais frenética e diversa, deixo-vos com um resumo muito gráfico daquilo que me conquistou.

Round-up into NYFW

E hoje foi o derradeiro dia da semana da moda de Nova Iorque, o último dia de desfiles daquela que foi considerada a melhor semana da moda do mundo. O que melhor do que compilar todos os favoritos e detalhes interessantes num só post? Não posso dizer que amei esta semana, mas se há coisa que é para aplaudir e admirar foi a realidade que por lá se viveu: pronto-a-vestir verdadeiramente pronto-a-vestir, do género pegar e inspirarmo-nos já neste preciso momento e sair à rua, nada de muita fantasia e irrealidade pelas passarelas, quase apenas e só inspiração verdadeira para mulheres reais por esse mundo fora.

And today was the last day of NYFW, the last day of fashion shows of that one that has been elected as the best fashion week in the world. What would be better for today than review every single favorite and interesting detail in one only post? I won't say that I loved a lot this week, but if there is something we could all admire and applaud, that's the reality that have been seen around there: ready to wear that was really ready to wear, like we could just look at those looks and inspire us for this precisely moment with similar pieces, nothing of too much fantasy on those fashions shows, almost just and only true inspiration for true women around the world.

NYFW III

Hora de brincar novamente aos favoritos...

Já se sabe que o fim costuma ser sempre a melhor parte,

e nesta NYFW, a história repetiu-se, e os desfiles finais deixaram-me realmente impressionada!

Time to play favorites, once again...

We already know that the end turns to be the best,

and on this NYFW, the history repeats, so the final fashion shows completely impressed me!

NYFW II

A NYFW continua a toda a velocidade, sucedem-se desfiles atrás de desfiles,

e como sempre, montes de favoritos para partilhar.

Por outro lado tenho de admitir que tenho ficado pouco impressionada com os grandes designers, parece-me tudo muito igual e óbvio.

Para compensar, tenho-me vindo a apaixonar por imensos underrated!

The NYFW continues at full sped, there are lots of fashion shows happening everyday,

and as usual, lots of favorites to share.

But I must admit that I'm feeling little impressed with the biggest designers,

it all seems too obvious and equal.

To compensate, I've been falling in love with so many underrated designers!

NYFW I

Não há dúvida de que os meses das grandes semanas da moda são uma autêntica delícia para mim!

Fico sempre abismada com as colecções que os designers ano após ano nos apresentam,

e é raro não sair fã de um qualquer novo talento que ainda não conhecia.

A NYFW começou esta semana, e como de costume,

os primeiros a apresentar as suas colecções são os mais underrated, mas nem por isso deixam de me nos proporcionar imensos suspiros!

Deixo-vos com as colecções que mais me impressionaram.

There is no doubt that the months of the big Fashion Weeks are like a big and delicious candy for me!

I always feel stunned with the collections that designers present us year after year,

and it's so rare for me to not fall in love with a new designer that I didn't knew before.

NYFW started this week, and as usual,

the first ones presenting their collections are a little underrated, but it still provide me us lots of sighs!

Runway | NYFW Underrated

A Semana da Moda de Nova Iorque é sem dúvida a mais preenchida!

Seguem-se desfiles atrás de desfiles,

designers fantásticos atrás de outros fantásticos designers..

É toda uma roda viva e bem acelerada.

Basta observar o respectivo calendário ou observar algumas imagens

para nos apercebermos de todo o ritmo frenético que rodeia este período..

Por isso, muitos designers e colecções fantásticas

acabam por ficar mais desconhecidos do que aquilo que mereciam!

Aqui estão algumas colecções de designers cheios de potencial,

e que na maioria dos casos, não são tão reconhecidos quanto deviam..

The New York Fashion Week is undoubtedly the most filled of all!

It is fashion shows after fashion shows,

amazing designers after another amazing designers..

It is an entire wheel full of life and at a very high speed.

It is enough to observe it schedule or look at some images

for realizing about all frenetic rhythm that surrounds that week..

As a consequence, many designers and fantastic collections

seems to be a little more unknown that they deserve!

Here are a compilation of some of that designers fulfilled of great potential,

and that at the most of the cases, are not so recognizes as they should be..

Runway | NYFW II

Aquela que é uma espécie de irmã mais nova da marca do criador Marc Jacobs,

tem como audiência um público mais jovem,

e isso nota-se nos modelos apresentados no desfile!

Gritam conforto e estilo, e vão buscar inspiração ao estilo vintage,

mas com uma veia bem colegial!

Destaque – O burgundy permanece para mais uma estação fria!

This brand is like a younger sister of the main brand of Marc Jacobs,

with younger consumers as target,

and that is well notorious on the models presented in the fashion show!

It screams comfort and style, and it has some vintage inspiration,

but with a touch of very high school style.

Highlight - The burgundy remains for another cold season!

Cores fortes, modelos apaixonantes e divertidos,

que não deixam passar uma quase natural elegância imanente.

Provavelmente, a minha colecção preferida da NYFW.

Oscar sabe brincar com os modelos e criar peças fascinantes!

Destaque – Aqueles dois últimos vestidos inspirados no barroco, sem dúvida que foram o ponto alto do desfile!

Bright colors, passionate and funny models,

without letting go an almost natural immanent elegance.

Probably, my favorite collection from NYFW.

Oscar surely knows how to play with the models and create fascinating pieces of clothing!

Highlight - Those last two dresses inspired on baroque, were undoubtedly the high point of the show!

Com um cenário que parece inspirado nos nossos azulejos típicos,

as peças aparentavam sobriedade e elegância simultânea.

O romantismo surge como inevitável neste desfile,

com os inúmeros ornamentos e pormenores nos vestidos.

Destaque – O veludo enquanto tecido parece estar para voltar!

With a scenario that seems to be inspired on the typical Portuguese tiles,

the pieces had sobriety and elegance.

The romanticism came out as inevitable on this show,

with the numerous ornaments and details on the dresses.

Highlight - The velvet as dress seems to be back!

Vera Wang não é só uma das melhores a fazer vestidos de noiva,

como também sabe fazer colecções ready to wear

com aquele toque de inevitável adoração!

Destaque – Querooo tanto aquela capa de pêlo preta!!

Vera Wang is not only one of the best at the time to do fabulous wedding dresses,

as she also knows how to do ready to wear collections

with a touch of inevitable adoration!

Highlight - I want so badly that black fur cape!!

Um designer que tem sido uma óptima revelação!

Desta vez o pêlo recebeu o destaque central no desfile,

e quase todas as peças tiveram direito a pequenos detalhes em pêlo..

Destaque – Os casacos com as aplicações em pêlo são tão maravilhosamente perfeitos!

A designer that has been a great revelation!

This time, the fur as been the center of the show,

and almost every piece has been entitled with some details on that material..

Highlight - The coats with fur applications are just so perfect!!

É claro que o que mais amamos em Marchesa é a Couture,

Mas não há como resistir a um belo ready to wear,

Especialmente se estiver impregnado com o toque único de Marchesa!

Mais uma vez, peças cheias de inspiração barroca,

algumas flores, e muitos folhos!

Destaque – A delicadeza dos tecidos é deliciosa.

Of course the most we love on Marchesa is the Couture,

but there is no way to resist to a beautiful ready to wear,

specially if it's with the unique touch of Marchesa!

Once more, pieces fulfilled of baroque inspiration,

some flowers and many ruffles!

Highlight - The delicacy of the fabrics is just delicious.

Uma colecção de cores básicas mas com modelagens cheias de vida!

Os tecidos são mais do que sedutores,

Que aliados a formas e volumes curiosos na maioria das peças

Resultaram numa colecção com um aspecto muito clean, mas também improvável.

Destaque – Os cortes e recortes ao longo das peças.

A collection of basic colors but with modelings filled of life!

The tissues are more than seductive,

that allied to the curious shapes and volumes presents on the most of the pieces,

has resulted in a collection with a very clean aspect, but also improbable.

Highlight - The cuts and re-cuts along the pieces.

Já todos sabemos que Marc Jacobs não é pessoa para seguir regras,

E parece que desta vez ele desejava ir de encontro ao cinzento.

As peças são básicas em cores, mas extravagantes em tecidos –

Pêlo, tweed, lantejoulas, metalizados –

Toda uma panóplia de texturas misturadas..

Destaque – Posso ter aquele fantástico vestido em pêlo!?

We all already know that Marc Jacobs is not a person to follow orders,

and seems that this time he wanted the grey color!

The pieces are color basics, but with very fancy tissues -

Fur, tweed, sparkles, metallics -

a true panoply of mixed textures..

Highlight - Can I have that amazing amazing fur dress!?

Runway | NYFW I

Muito preto & branco, não vamos enjoar!?, com pequenos detalhes de vermelho:

Combinação de cores mais clássica de sempre.

Jason Wu trouxe-nos uma colecção para mulheres poderosas,

sem perder toda a femininidade eminente..

É tudo uma questão de postura!

Destaque - As aplicações maravilhosas em pêlo nos casacos!

Black & White, will we get sick of it!?, with small details in red:

The most eternal combination of colors.

Jason Wu bring us a collection for powerful woman,

without forgetting some imminent femininity..

It's all a question of posture!

Highlight - The marvelous fur applications on the coats!

Peças românticas e cheias de fluidez,

muito à base do preto e do azul escuro.

As texturas parecem interessantes e cheias de vida,

que nos trazem silhuetas encantadoras.

Destaque - As texturas tridimensionais de flores nos últimos vestidos.

Romantic pieces filled of fluidity,

essentially in black and navy.

The textures seem so interesting and full of life,

that bring us enchanting silhouettes.

Highlight - The tridimensional textures of flowers on the last dresses.

Um designer que tem muito mais para dar parece-me,

e que nos trouxe uma colecção com inspirações militares..

As peças são super bem estruturadas,

mas faltou-lhe aquele je ne sais quoi que nos apresenta nos tapetes vermelhos.

Destaque - Os maravilhosos cortes ao longo das peças, que criaram assimetrias improváveis e sedutoras.

A designer that has so much more to give us, or at least that seems to me,

that bring us a collection filled of military inspirations..

The pieces are super well structured,

but it failed on that je ne sais quoi that we are used to from the red carpets.

Highlight - The marvelous cuts along the clothes, that have created improbable and seductive asymmetrics.

Uma grande surpresa!

Adorei todos os detalhes da colecção apresentada,

especialmente o ênfase dado ao pêlo.

Destaque - As echarpes de pêlo cruzadas e presas com cinto como no segundo modelo.

A big surprise!

Adored every details of the presented collection,

specially the emphasis given to the fur!

Highlight - The fur scarves crossed with a belt in the second model.

Cores fortes e contrastantes entre si,

muitos metalizados e padrão leopardo..

As silhuetas são perfeitamente delicadas e femininas.

Uma colecção que é uma verdadeira homenagem à mulher!

Destaque - O conjunto rosa & vermelho é de morte.

Bright colors mixed between them,

various metallics and leopard patterns..

The silhouettes are perfectly delicate and feminine.

A collection that is a true tribute to every woman!

Highlight - The pink & red suit is really to die for.

Carolina Herrera sabe realmente como criar modelos fantásticos e femininos,

de forma madura e adulta, sem esquecer uma inegável elegância.

Uma primeira parte da colecção em tons sóbrios e muito neutros,

a que se seguiu um certo ênfase às cores fortes e brilhantes.

Destaque - Estou apaixonada pelos pormenores em pêlo colorido!

Carolina Herrera really knows how to create fantastic and super feminine models,

in a mature and adult way, without letting go an undeniable elegance.

The first part of the collection with sober and neutral tones,

after that, some emphasis to bright and brilliant colors.

Highlight - I'm so in love with the details on the colored fur!

Zac Posen tem uma forma muito especifíca de criar os seus modelos..

O resultado é sempre dotado de linhas sedutoras.

Neste caso, o ponto central da colecção foram definitivamente os ombros,

que em todos os modelos surgem em grande distinção.

Destaque - Os referidos decotes em barco.

Zac Posen has a very specific way of create his models..

The result is always so gifted of seductive lines.

In this collection, the main point is definetily the shoulders,

that can be seen with a big big distinction in every model.

Highlight - The shoulders neckline.

Tecidos delicados e repletos de fluidez,

que tornam os vestidos quase irresistíveis!

Linhas subtis de quais os ombros saem super destacados.

Esta não é uma colecção para o dia-a-dia,

mas que outra coisa se podia esperar de Jenny Packham!?

Destaque - Os vestidos em tons do mar, lindos lindos lindos.

Delicate fabrics filled of fluidity,

that make the dresses almost irresistible!

Soft lines from which the shoulders, once again, came out super in highlight.

This is not a day to day collection, that's for sure,

but what more are we expecting from Jenny Packham!?

Highlight - The dresses in hues of the sea, cute cute cute.
