Round-up into NYFW

E hoje foi o derradeiro dia da semana da moda de Nova Iorque, o último dia de desfiles daquela que foi considerada a melhor semana da moda do mundo. O que melhor do que compilar todos os favoritos e detalhes interessantes num só post? Não posso dizer que amei esta semana, mas se há coisa que é para aplaudir e admirar foi a realidade que por lá se viveu: pronto-a-vestir verdadeiramente pronto-a-vestir, do género pegar e inspirarmo-nos já neste preciso momento e sair à rua, nada de muita fantasia e irrealidade pelas passarelas, quase apenas e só inspiração verdadeira para mulheres reais por esse mundo fora.

And today was the last day of NYFW, the last day of fashion shows of that one that has been elected as the best fashion week in the world. What would be better for today than review every single favorite and interesting detail in one only post? I won't say that I loved a lot this week, but if there is something we could all admire and applaud, that's the reality that have been seen around there: ready to wear that was really ready to wear, like we could just look at those looks and inspire us for this precisely moment with similar pieces, nothing of too much fantasy on those fashions shows, almost just and only true inspiration for true women around the world.

Jason Wu mais uma vez conseguiu surpreender, e esta colecção fascinou-me realmente! Adorei este toque meio gótico, meio mulher fatal que o designer deu às suas peças, sem cair na vulgaridade. Já nos vestidos de noite não se pretende meios termos, as cores intensas estão aí e todas queremos ser mulheres misteriosas cheias de personalidade.

Jason Wu once again managed to surprise and this collection really fascinated me! I loved this touch half gothic, half femme fatale that the designer gave to his pieces without falling into vulgarity. But in the evening dresses the intense colors are there and we all want to be mysterious women with lots of personality.

Ao ver esta colecção só consegui mesmo pensar em tons pastel, parece que eles estão aí outra vez, e mais delicados e românticos do que nunca.

Looking at this collection, I just could think about pastel colors, it looks like they are here to stay again and more delicate and romantic than ever.

 Michael Kors investiu tudo no padrão mais clássico da história da moda: riscas! Esta colecção reinventou o estilo navy, novas cores no mesmo estilo que todas amamos! Desta vez, camadas e camadas de riscas sobrepostas meio que em contraste permanente, no entanto sem perder as linhas clássicas.

Michael Kors invested everything in the most classic pattern in fashion history: stripes! The collection has reinvented the navy style, new colors in the same style that we all love! This time, layers and layers of overlapped stripes in contrast , however without losing the classic lines.

Esta colecção Vera Wang investe numa tendência que eu tenho vindo a adorar: o barroco! Adoro os toques de classe que cada peça adquire devido ao dourado, acabam por ser peças clássicas e eternas, mas com o seu próprio toque de diferença. As rendas e bordados aqui surgem como os melhores amigos da mulher clássica e elegante!

This collection of Vera Wang invests in a trend I've come to love: the Baroque! I love the touches of class that each piece acquires due to golden, the pieces turn out to be timeless and classic, but with its own touch of difference. The lace and embroideries here appear as the best friends of a truly elegant woman!

 Admito que também não conhecia este designer, mas adorei a delicadeza das peças e os toques de padrões de borboletas, tudo me faz lembrar delicadas porcelanas.

I admit I did not know this designer but I loved the delicacy of the pieces and the touches of the patterns with butterflies, everything reminds me of porcelain.

As curvas da mulher em destaque central nesta colecção de Zac Posen que me fez lembrar pequenas bailarinas com estas peças tão delicadas, afinal o tule há-de ser sempre a minha perdição!

The curves of women highlighted in this Zac Posen collection reminded me of little ballerinas with these such delicate pieces, the tulle will be always my perdition!

A colecção de Proenza Schouler apesar de mais extensa, só me conseguiu conquistar mesmo ao nível destes vestidos, de resto não me surpreendeu nem trouxe nada de novo na minha opinião.

The collection of Proenza Schouler although more extended, only managed to conquer me at the these dresses, the rest did not surprise me and in my opinion it did not bring anything new.

O que mais me seduz na aposta de Donna Karan para a próxima estação é a leveza que caracteriza as peças. Uma colecção repleta de sedas e tons suaves, a combinação perfeita entre a elegância e a sofisticação.

What attracts me most on Donna Karan for next season is the lightness that characterizes the pieces. A collection full of silks and soft tones, the perfect combination of elegance and sophistication.
