Runway | Haute Couture SS13

Esta semana decorreram os desfiles de Alta Costura em Paris,

como já é costume, trouxeram verdadeiras e incríveis obras de arte,

ricas em detalhes e pormenores de perder a respiração!

This week took place once again, the Haute Couture runways in Paris

and as usual, it brought us pieces of art that are truly incredible,

rich in details of losing breath!

Christian Dior

Uma atmosfera bem primaveril, em que todos os detalhes chamam pela já tão desejada Primavera.

Volumes mais que perfeitos & silhuetas repletas de romantismo!

A very spring time atmosphere in which every detail calls for the so already desired Spring.

Volumes more than perfect & silhouettes full of romantic details!

Giambattista Valli

Uma colecção de autênticos contrastes, o clássico preto e branco de um lado,

os românticos e delicados tons de rosa no outro.

A collection of genuine contrasts, the classic black and white on one side,

the romantic and delicate tones of pink in the other. 

Chanel

Uma clara inspiração ao passado vitoriano, com uma certa inspiração gótica que não me agradou totalmente,

com forte recurso ao já clássico tweed e grande destaque nas texturas.

A clear inspiration on Victorian past, with a certain gothic inspiration that hasn't inspired me totally,

with a strong use of to the classic tweed and great highlight to textures.

Armani Privé

Vermelho em grande destaque neste desfile,

com inclusão de variados elementos geométricos e gráficos.

Red as the main highlight in this runway,

including so many geometric and graphic elements.

Valentino

Elegância em cores clássicas - preto, branco & vermelho!

Um desfile repleto de tecidos ricos e elaborados, não há como não sonhar..

Elegance in classic colors - black, white & red!

A fashion show filled with so much rich and elaborated garments, I'm surely dreaming about...

Elie Saab

Via as imagens do desfile e o único pensamento que me ocorria era:

"Como é possível ser-se tão previsível e surpreendente ao mesmo tempo?".

Eu sei que é pura contradição, mas este homem tem um verdadeiro dom.

Apresentou-nos precisamente o mesmo trabalho de sempre,

e no entanto apaixonou-nos como sempre.

I saw these images and the only thought that occurred me was:

"How is it possible to be so predictable and surprising at the same time?".

I know it's pure contradiction but this man really has a talent.

He presented us precisely the same work ever, however we fell in love like usually.

Zuhair Murad

Mais um libanês que sabe como criar beleza cheia de elegância.

Os dourados predominam, e são sempre uma escolha acertada.

Another lebanese that surely knows how to create beauty full of elegance.

The golds predominate and they're always a good choice.

Trends SS13 #3 | Asymmetries

As assimetrias regressaram aos desfiles internacionais em grande para a próxima estação.

Porém, não tão óbvias quanto o que nos temos habituados!

Assim, se a clássica assimetria nos ombros permanece,

as assimetrias também vêm assumir muitas outras formas  versões,

como em Michael Van Der Ham.

Tudo o que se pretende é ir contra o expectável.

Sendo que estes detalhes enchem qualquer peça de roupa de uma dinâmica inesperada!

The asymmetries return to international runways in great spotlight for next season.

However, they're not so obvious as what we used to know them!

So, if the classic asymmetric on the shoulder remains,

the asymmetry goes much further than than,

and assumes many other versions, like in Michael Van Der Ham.

The main point seems like to go against the expectable.

I think these details give an amazing and unexpected dynamic to any piece of clothes!

Trends SS13 #2 | Ruffles & Frills

Folhos, Franzidos & Babados…

Uma outra paixão que me assolou durante as semanas da moda!

Parece-me que surgem um pouco em sequência do peplum,

e nalguns casos são apenas um peplum mais trabalhado..

Se sempre nutri uma certa adoração pelo peplum,

não podem imaginar o quão encantada estou com estes efeitos fantásticos!

São tão femininos, românticos e modernos em simultâneo.

Não há como negar que dão imensa personalidade à roupa.

A textura e movimento que proporcionam deixou-me apaixonada!

E quanto a vocês?

Ruffles, Frills & Pleats...

Another passion that strucked me during the fashion weeks!

Seems to me that they appear in sequence to peplum,

and in some cases, they're just a more elaborated peplum..

If I always have been a great lover of peplum,

you can't imagine what I'm feeling about these fantastic effects!

They're so feminine, romantic and modern at the same time.

There is no denying about the personality they give to the clothes.

The texture and movement that they provide makes me fell in love!

Toda nós ou a maioria adoramos anéis.

São aquele acessório cheio de graça que incrementa imenso a beleza das nossas mãos!

Mais recentemente têm surgido imensas variantes deste acessório,

de todas as formas e tamanhos, o que eu pessoalmente aprovo imenso!

Nalguns casos, estes anéis amorosos chegam-me a fazer lembrar contos de fadas.

It's that accessory full of joy, that increases so much the beauty of our hands!

Recently, they’ve been appearing in some variants,

surging in all shapes, forms and sizes, what I aprove a lot!

Sometimes, this lovely rings almost remind me of fairytales.

Parece-me que ainda são dificeís de encontrar à venda,

e o único recurso aparenta mesmo ser as lojas online,

essencialmente à base da ASOS.

They seem like a little hard to find at sale,

and the only resource looks like the online stores,

specially at ASOS.

Trends SS13 #1 | Stripes

Que as riscas são um clássico mais que intemporal, já todos sabemos…

Mas esta estação elas surgem reinventadas!

A grande aposta vai para o contraste entre o preto e branco,

mas a verdade é que neste Verão valerá tudo no que toca a riscas!

Aposto que quase todas têm peças perfeitas

para serem reinventadas e vestidas até à exaustão,

 sem esquecer que nesta tendência um pouco de ousadia é bem vinda!

Aquele mix de riscas horizontais + riscas verticais,

de Dolce & Gabanna ou Oscar de la Renta, é pura perfeição!

Stripes are a more than a classic, we all know that...

But this season they come reinvented!

The big bet goes to black & white in contrast,

but the truth is that, this Summer every kind of stripes are welcome!

I almost bet that you all have perfect pieces of clothes

to be reinvented and worn until exhaustion,

without forgetting that this trend asks for a little audacity in mixing.

That mix of horizontal stripes + vertical stripes,

of Dolce & Gabanna or Oscar de la Renta, is some pure perfection!

Minhas favoritas! 

Taylor Swift | Não há como negar, já aqui tinha dito anteriormente e volto a repetir,

Taylor Swift está em plena ascensão de estilo meninas!

Basta olhar para esse decote profundo para ver que existe algo de bem novo e diferente nela,

já para não falar no complemento perfeito: os brincos statement. Ela foi mesmo a minha favorita!

Chloe-Moretz | Logo logo depois, também fiquei muito encantada

com esse vestido meio neon e rendado em Chloe-Moretz,

é verdade que não é muito cara de red carpet, mas todas sabemos que este foi um evento mais soft.

Kaley Cuoco | Era a apresentadora do evento, fartou-se de mudar de outfits,

mas este foi mesmo o meu favorito.

A cor que tinha tudo para nela morrer, ficou linda, delicada e romântica.

Runner Willis | Já esse vestido longo também entra para o meu top!

Primeiro, não há como não amar lantejoulas em modo elegante num evento destes;

Segundo, adorei essas riscas na diagonal

Terceiro, as cores em conjunto ficaram lindas.

Taylor Swift | There is no denying, I've already said this before and I will say it again

Taylor Swift is booming in style, girls!

Just look at that deep neckline and see that there is something quite new and different about her,

not to mention the perfect complement: statement earrings. She was my favorite!

Chloe Moretz | Then I was also very delighted with that dress in lace and half neon that she wore.

Kaley Cuoco | As the host of the event, she changed outfits several times

 but this one was my favorite. The color of the dress had everything to not work in her but it looks gorgeous, delicate and romantic.

Runner Willis | This long dress also is in my top!

First, there is no way not to love sequins in a classy way;

Second, I loved these diagonal stripes; Third, the colors became gorgeous together.

Julianne Hough | Surgiu com este vestido meio galáctico,

mas não há como não adorar um vestido bem rodado!

Katie Cassidy | Com um look bem invulgar numa red carpet,

afinal macacão não é para todas, mas o resultado ficou muito elegante!

Naomi Watts | É daquelas mulheres tão diva,

que não precisa de vestir nada de especial para só por si e pela sua postura estar super especial,

e esse é mais um caso que nos mostra isso!

Rachel Leigh Cook | Em turquesa. Simples, mas assim também não há como errar.

Julianne Hough | Appeared with a galactic pattern dress but

there is no way not to love a good swirled dress!

Katie Cassidy | With a look quite unusual for a red carpet,

jumpsuits aren't for everyone but the result was very elegant!

Naomi Watts | She's one of those diva women 

who does not need to dress up very special to be special,

just for herself and for her posture!

Rachel Leigh Cook | In turquoise. Simple, but this way can not go wrong.

Ainda na dúvida!

Emma Watson | Tem tendência a sempre acertar,

mas desta vez fiquei na dúvida e não consegui ainda entender bem o vestido.

Heidi Klum | Esses recortes ao longo do vestido só me fazem lembrar cobras,

e admitamos que não me parece a melhor associação para o vestido.

Lea Michele | Foi mesmo quem me deixou mais indecisão.

Estou naquela linha entre o amar doida por rosa e o detestar demasiado!?.

Jennifer Aniston | Trouxe um vestido que é totalmente a cara dela (pele!),

e eu acho que gosto, mas a aparência de abajur está-me a deixar na dúvida. 

Still in doubt!

Emma Watson | Has a tendency to always choose the perfect dress,

but this time I had doubts and I didn't understand very well the dress.

Heidi Klum | These cutouts along the dress only remind me snakes,

and let's admit that it not seem the best combination for the dress.

Lea Michele | She left me in a big indecision.

I'm on that line between love crazy about pink and hate too much!?.

Jennifer Aniston | Used a dress that it is entirely her face (leather!),

and I think I've liked, but the appearance of lampshade leaves me in doubt.

Não deu mesmo para gostar!

Olivia Munn | Para mim, o corte do vestido foi simplesmente estranho demais!

Paris Hilton | A desaparecida trouxe um vestido mesmo nada apropriado para o evento,

e os sapatos não combinaram.

Sandra Bullock | Esse vestido/saia é mais executiva do que propriamente festiva,

por isso não me agradou.

Katy Perry | Surgiu com um vestido que não me agradou,

não gostei do estilo campestre, e penso que saiu bem envelhecida.

Huum, Not!

Olivia Munn | For me, the cutting of this dress is simply too weird!

Paris Hilton | The disappeared brought a dress that really wasn't appropriate for the event,

and the shoes simply didn't match.

Sandra Bullock | That dress/skirt is more executive than properly festive,

so I didn't like it.

Katy Perry  | Came up with a dress that I didn't like,

the country style is not for this event and I think she looked older.

Trends | Color of the Year 2013 by Pantone

Em todos os finais de ano, Pantone, chamemos-lhe autoridade das cores, elege uma cor para ser “A Cor do Ano”, e em 2013 é a vez do Esmeralda que eu tanto adoro! Uma cor rica, vibrante e elegante. E a verdade é que esta escolha da cor já parecia um pouco antecipada durante o ano passado, pois é uma cor que todas vimos muito por aí. Agora é esperar para ver se pega a moda do esmeralda, com o realce de que esta qualificação de cor do ano vale para tudo, e não apenas no campo da moda. Já sabem, agarrem-se ao esmeralda!

Around the end of the year, Pantone, call it the color authority, chooses a color to be "The Color of the Year" and in 2013 is the turn of Emerald which I so adore! A rich color, vibrant and elegant. And the truth is that this color choice already seemed a bit anticipated over the past year because it is a color that we have seen a lot all around. Now we'll wait to see if the emerald color turns out a trend, with the highlight that this color of the year applies to everything and not just in the fashion field. Now you know, get something in emerald color!
